tight bites

Photobucket

Some dude is taking drawings done by kids and making them look real(er). This is pretty tight. My drawings were mostly a horizon line with a square house that had two windows and suns wearing sunglasses. That would be tight to make real. A sun wearing shades. I'd like to look up and see that. It would make me feel joyful. Around third grade I was the champion drawer of women at my after school program. I always made the women look like Cher in 1975: hair down their backs, tiny, impossible waists, and bellbottoms. I guess this explains some of my love of Cher. (August, baby!) All the girls wanted me to draw the women in their pictures for them. Too bad now I can't draw a decent looking tree. However, if you need swans connecting their heads to make a heart, I'm your woman.

Entertainment Weekly compiled the best guest stars on the Simpsons. I like things that have to do with the Simpsons. The way the guest stars are worked into the show is always pretty hilar. I wish the team behind the Simpsons would make a Mighty Wind-style fake documentary on the B Flats. That would be tight. Anyway, this slideshow is kinda f-ed and I get pissed when I have to click through multiple pages because I'm lazy, but it's worth the trip down memory lane.

Finally, in honor of Mother's Day, I want to let you know that Michelle Duggar, wife of Jim Bob and mother to 17 kids, is pregnant with #18. You heard right. I need some kind of horse tranq just thinking about this. I mean, really. I'm having quite a few gross thoughts right now, but one thought I think is paramount is this: how can you possibly give enough attention to 18 children. I can barely pay attention to a cute dog on the street without getting distracted/bored. Sometimes Mama just wants to sit with a roast beef sandwich and a sweet tea and watch Wheel. I also feel pretty amazed that every kid can be totally sane and healthy. I feel like one of them should have 11 toes or something. Also, with a group that big, you are bound to have a few that enjoy Barbra Streisand records, if you get my drift. It's just science! As long as they are happy. So a big happy day to her, I guess. She is kind of a baller for pumping them out and never complaining and looking pretty happy all the time.
