Dress for Success?

I found this really tight book, courtesy of the Austin Public Library book sale. With such praise from Time Magazine, I knew it had to be a winner. All images can be viewed on a larger scale when you click thru.

The illustrations are super tight and look like something I would've done when my art teacher asked me to do a blind contour drawing. How disgruntled and unhappy does this guy look, despite having "proper" tie length?

These shirts marked "Never for Business" look like they mean ALL business.

But here's the thing, I need a witness on this next image. The previous owner of this book obviously read with intent, highlighting anything that seemed important. Please read this paragraph that describes the hazard of wearing a dark brown suit and explain to me how this book was actually published.

Also, P.S. That guy looks like Gav when he is at a bar with sub par beer while a DJ spins really bad choices. I think we should get this book reprinted, using pictures of Gav instead.
